The ASCE Standards Service includes standards, manuals, and reports on engineering practices covering design and construction of structures. These publications cover items such as: maintenance of multilane highways, sedimentation engineering, groundwater management, technical procedure for city surveys, sanitary landfill, design of structures to resist nuclear weapons effects, report on small craft harbors.

IHS Provides Engineering Standards in the Following Formats
Internet - The IHS Specs & Standards subscription service provides unlimited, immediate access to complete collections of industry, international/national standards and military specifications.
Intranet or Extranet - Documents reside on corporate internal networks (depending on individual licensing agreements) for quick desktop access, retrieval and sharing.
CD-ROM or DVD - For locations with strict security or where online communications is an issue.
Individual Standards - Individual standards documents may be ordered from the IHS Standards Store in hardcopy format. IHS subscription customers may purchase individual Portable Document Format (PDF) documents.
