Description:
The ASME Codes and Standards – Turbines Collection – contains the following documents:

PTC 4  Fired Steam Generators
This Code provides instructions on conducting tests of fuel fired steam generators, using H/C fuels. It can be used to determine performance characteristics such as efficiency, capacity and output.

PTC 4.4  Gas Turbine Heat Recovery Steam Generators
This Code provides procedures for conducting tests of heat recovery steam generators (HRSG) employed in combined cycle installations, defined as a gas turbine exhausting into an HRSG.

PTC 6  Steam Turbines
This Code provides procedures for acceptance tests of steam turbines in nuclear and fossil-fired regenerative feedwater heater cycles.

PTC 6.2  Steam Turbines in Combined Cycles
This Code is used for testing steam turbines in combined cycles with or without supplementary firing and in cogeneration applications.  This Code is applicable to condensing and noncondensing steam turbines; to reheat and nonreheat steam turbines; and to induction/extraction steam turbines.

PTC 6 REPORT  Guidance for Evaluation of Measurement Uncertainty in Performance Tests of Steam Turbines
This Report provides guidance for the parties to the test to establish the degree of uncertainty of the test results when there are deviations from requirements of PTC 6.

PTC 6A  Appendix A to PTC6, the Test Code for Steam Turbines
This appendix provides the calculation and correction of turbine test results, numerical examples, and guidelines for making these calculations and comparisons of procedures outlined in PTC 6.

PTC 6S REPORT  Procedures for Routine Performance Tests of Steam Turbines
The test procedures of this Report are intended for periodic steam turbine tests.  They may also be used for the analysis and supervision of relative performance throughout the life of the steam turbine.

PTC 18  Hydraulic Turbines and Pump-Turbines
This Code provides determination of performance of all sizes of hydraulic turbines and pump-turbines operating with water in either the turbine or pump mode.

PTC 22  Performance Test Codes on Gas Turbines
This Code provides directions and rules for conduct and report of results of thermal performances tests for open cycle gas turbine power plants and gas turbine engines (gas turbines).

PTC 29  Speed-Governing Systems for Hydraulic Turbine-Generator Units
This Code provides the rules and procedures for the performance testing of hydraulic turbine speed governors. It is applicable to constant speed hydraulic turbines.

PTC 42  Wind Turbines
This Code provides determination of performance of wind turbines.

TDP-1  Recommended Practices for the Prevention of Water Damage to Steam Turbines used for Electric Power Generation:  Fossil-Fuel Plants
This Standard recommends practices for prevention of water damage to steam turbines in fossil-fuel-fired electrical power generation applicable to steam cycle, combined cycle & cogeneration plants.

Online Access - Subscribers get secure online access to search, view, bookmark, track, and print documents according to the license agreement. Online documents are updated daily. Multiple users can share a single license. You also get access to IHS Standards bibliographic data – more than 1 Million documents.

Individual Documents - IHS sells individual documents through the IHS Standards Store in electronic or hardcopy formats. Statistics show that 1 out of every 5 people who purchase individual documents would benefit from an online subscription.  You should consider a collection over individual document purchases if your company buys more than $3,000 in standards per year.
