The four volumes of standards included in this section of the ASTM Book of Standards cover tests, applications, and specifications for paints, paint materials, coatings, and solvents. ASTM Specifications in this collection establish property requirement to assure safety and material performance as well as ASTM Test Methods for chemical analysis and physical tests to determine constituent makeup, volatility, solubility and miscibility.
