This specification defines a transmission measuring system operating from 1KHz to 33.5 MHz combining the functions of an RF tuning unit, an AF/RF frequency monitor, a spectrum analyzer, and a visual display and herein after called the equipment.

The equipment defined by this specification shall be Type II, Class 5, Style E, Color R per MIL-T-28800 and as herein with the rack-mountable capability.
