Scope:
Purpose:
This specification covers the engineering requirements for producing brazed joints in parts made of steels, iron alloys, nickel alloys, and cobalt alloys using gold-nickel alloy filler metal.
Application:
This process has been used typically for joints requiring high strength and corrosion and oxidation resistance up to 1300 °F (704 °C), but usage is not limited to such applications.
