Scope:
Volume B30.26 includes provisions that apply to the construction,
installation, operation,
inspection, and maintenance of detachable rigging hardware used for
lifting purposes in conjunction
with equipment described in other volumes of the B30 Standard. This
hardware includes shackles,
links, rings, swivels, turnbuckles, eyebolts, hoist rings, wire rope
clips, wedge sockets, and
rigging blocks. Use of the same hardware for purposes other than
lifting is excluded from the
provisions of this Volume.
