This Defence Standard details the requirements for resins for use with fibre reinforcement for the production of laminates for ships, boats, craft and craft structures.

The grade and type of resin required will be stated in the contract or order.

Materials which have been found to satisfy the requirements of Def Stan 02-167 are listed in MAP 01-121.

The test and procedures to be undertaken to satisfy the requirements of this standard are included.
