Scope:

This Practice describes the requirements for design, manufacture, inspection, testing, and shipping of electrical systems for unitized unenclosed equipment packages, including components such as electrical enclosures, motors, motor controllers, heaters, relays, controls and control panels, control stations, pilot devices, indicating lights, transformers, wires, and conduits.

This Practice does not include medium-voltage motor controllers, DC motors and controllers, substations, and power control centers.

Purpose

This Practice provides requirements for the design and fabrication of all electrical devices and electrical systems furnished as components of a unitized skid-mounted package of equipment.
