1. Scope

1.1 This test method covers measurement under pressure of the electrical resistivity of a multi-strip specimen of Epstein test strips. It indicates the effectiveness of surface oxide and surface coatings associated with electrical sheet steels for limiting interlamination losses in electrical machinery.
