Scope:
This test method covers household types of upright, canister, and combination vacuum cleaners.
This test method provides a measurement in dry quarts or litres of the maximum functional volume of the primary dirt receptacle when installed in the vacuum cleaner.
This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use.
