Scope:
Purpose and Scope
This test method covers the measurement of the degree of
cleanness of pile floor coverings, in the range from clean to a
middle degree of soiling. It can be used to measure the
accumulation of soil, or the removal of soil by a cleaning
procedure. It can be used with pile floor coverings of any color,
pattern, structure or fiber content.
This test method does not evaluate structural appearance changes
(see 14.1).
