Scope:
This test method covers a laboratory procedure for determining
the tensile adhesive strength of a preformed tape sealant. The type
of failure can be determined, and the degree of cohesive/adhesive
failure can be estimated.
The values stated in metric (SI) units are to be regarded as the
standard. The values given in parentheses are provided for
information purposes only.
The subcommittee with jurisdiction is not aware of any similar
ISO standard.
