MSFC NASA MWI 4300.1: DISPOSAL TURN-INS/REUTILIZATION SCREENING

PURPOSE

The purpose of this Marshall Work Instruction (MWI) is to implement instructions pertaining to the property disposal and reutilization functions of the Center.

APPLICABILITY

This MWI applies to the personnel, programs, projects, and activities at Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) including contractors and resident agencies to the extent specified in their respective contracts/agreements. ("Contractors" for purposes of this paragraph include contractors, grantees, Cooperative Agreement recipients, Space Act Agreement partners, or other agreement parties.)

The provisions of this MWI applies to all personnel engaged in property disposal and reutilization activities, but does not apply to the disposal of hazardous waste. Hazardous waste disposal shall be in accordance with MPR 8500.1.
