ASTM D 3312 Document Information:

Title
Standard Test Method for Percent Reactive Monomer in Solventless Varnishes

ASTM International

Publication Date:
Sep 1, 2004

Scope:

This test method covers the determination of the percent of volatile reactive monomer having a vapor pressure exceeding 13.3 Pa (0.1 Torr) at 25 °C in an uncatalyzed solventless varnish. Experience has shown this method does not accurately determine percent reactive monomer when the vapor pressure is less than 13.3 Pa (0.1 Torr).

The values stated in SI units are the standard. The values given in parentheses are for information only.

This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use. It is the responsibility of the user of this standard to establish appropriate safety and health practices and determine the applicability of regulatory limitations prior to use. For a specific precaution, see Section 5.

NOTE 1 - There is no similar or equivalent ISO/IEC standard.
