Scope:

This specification covers two types of high-content calcium carbonate pigments, as follows:

Type PC—Calcium carbonate precipitate, prepared either by complete solution or by carbonation of lime.

Type GC—Ground mineral product.

Six grades of pigments, based on particle size (see 3.3) are covered.

The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as the standard. The values given in parentheses are for information only.
