Scope:
This study was sponsored by the American Petroleum
Institute (API), Committee on Refinery Equipment, Subcommittee
on Corrosion and Materials Research. The purpose of
the study was to provide technical background, based on
industry experience and consensus practice, for controlling
corrosion in hydroprocess reactor effluent systems. The findings
reported herein will be used as an interim resource by the
industry and as a basis for a future API recommended practice
document.
