Scope

This specification covers hot-mixed, hot-laid asphalt, tar, emulsified asphalt, and recycled bituminous paving mixtures for base, binder, leveling, and surface courses.

The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as the standard. Combining values from the two systems may result in nonconformance with the standard.
