NFPA 1600 Emergency Management Standard Now an iPhone App

The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) announced that an iPhone application is available for the latest edition of NFPA 1600 - Standard on Disaster/Emergency Management and Business Continuity Programs.
NFPA 1600 provides best practices and a common set of criteria for disaster management, emergency management and business continuity programs.
Through the iPhone application, NFPA 1600 is fully searchable and complete with active web links and phone numbers for NFPA and other agencies involved with emergency management programs, risk mitigation and response.
The 2007 edition of NFPA 1600 includes major revisions to resource listings, said NFPA.
It also includes material on prevention and the latest rules for emergency management, mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery. The standard was adopted by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
The NFPA 1600 iPhone application is available for download to an iPhone from the Apple iPhone applications site or from an iTunes account.
