The Superior Energy Performance partnership developed a web site, www.energyquickstart.org, to help provide manufacturers with a list of energy efficiency and conservation resources.
The new web site includes documents, software, training, spreadsheets, case studies, tip sheets, experts and calculators - many available at no cost since they were developed by government agencies, nonprofit organizations and universities.
The "Save Energy Now" section helps plant engineers with tools and best practices that are designed to make improvements to a plant's energy efficiency, while the "Manage Your Energy Program" takes a longer-term approach to the energy management process.
