1. Search Screen

You can search the catalogs by Keywords, Part Number, Manufacturer Name, or any combination. In this example we will be looking for a hand riveter.

Notice that we selected the Category radio button. Our results will be sorted by industry category/subject to help us find the type of manufacturer we need.

Notice that the All radio button is selected. We could have chosen to search just the commercial vendor catalogs, or just the GSA data.

Note: If you subscribe to the Preferred Suppliers option, you can choose to search only your preferred suppliers or the entire database.

With one click of the Search button, CatalogXpress looks for "hand riveter" in the full text of:

	3 million catalog pages from over 16,000 prime industrial manufacturers and distributors.
	Catalogs and price lists from over 5,200 GSA contractors
	U.S. Federal Supply Schedules
	GSA -related (General Services Administration) priority source of supply publications, such as the UNICOR, VA, and GSA supply catalogs.

Behind the scenes, your keywords are cross-referenced to the IHS Thesaurus so your search is comprehensive and you find products that might be known by several names, such as "fuse panels" and "fuse bays."
