Integration with IHS Specs & Standards
All standard fasteners in the IHS Fasteners eCatalog™ are integrated with the IHS Specs & Standards service for single-point access to the original standard. This deep integration between these two tools is designed for maximizing capabilities of using both tools concurrently.

Integration with IHS Haystack® Gold
Standard part numbers can also be researched further in the IHS Haystack Gold® service, offering the user quick reference to government logistics information including the national stock number, procurement histories, additional characteristics and insight from up to 40 other federal databases.

Integration with IHS CatalogXpress®
Standard part numbering schemes are also utilized by manufacturers and distributors to represent their product in conformance to the original military or AIA specification. Hence, select standard part numbers also provide direct access to the manufacturer catalog, helping to ensure the part selected in design is the same part actually purchased.

In all, these integrations are great time-savers for the engineer, as this integration brings a vast amount of critical technical information to a single point in the engineering decision making process.
