1. Enter Search Terms

You can search the entire text of the AV-DATA database for any word or phrase.

In this example, we will search for the phrase emergency lighting. In the Text field, we entered the phrase with surrounding quotation marks, so we will only find occurrences of this exact phrase.

Note: The right side of this screen lists all documents in the AV-DATA service, in alphanumeric order. When you clear a search, you automatically return to this complete listing.

Notice the Titles only checkbox under the Text field on the screen above. This allows you to limit your search to titles, instead of the full text.
