In the new IHS Standards Expert, searching and navigation is extremely intuitive. Search results are more precise than ever and are displayed in a way that helps you immediately discern the most relevant standards from the list.

As you view results, with a single button you can save a document to your "Favorites" folder for easy future access – and easy marking as a standard you want to 'watch' or monitor for updates. You can even save your searches, and set your preferences for default search filters and language.

Once you've found your standard, the version and details you want unfold before you. Historical results are filtered cleanly so you can see the most recent versions quickly – compare that to a generic search engine listing, which leaves you to sort through dozens of standards to find the right one.

Nomenclature is improved; it's easy for you to see what choices you have to dig into a standard further. References to other standards appear automatically in alongside the text of the one you're studying. Full-text searching is also easier and more integrated.

Setting alerts is easier and more flexible than ever. You can indicate who should be alerted for each individual standard on your watch lists.
